Overview In this Cyber Architect role, you'll define and integrate cyber security requirements into platform architectures for air and weapon systems. You'll work with SMEs across the platform and participate in design reviews to ensure cyber resilience throughout development. You'll lead risk analyses, define mitigations, and drive POAMs to support program schedules while supporting model-based engineering and digital transformation efforts. You'll collaborate with DoD technology partners to strengthen capabilities and influence mission-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities- Define, decompose, and allocate cyber security requirements into system architectures
- Lead cyber risk analysis, assessments, and mitigations
- Develop installation/configuration documentation to obtain Authorizations to Operate (ATO)
- Drive Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) for open cyber risks
- Support model-based engineering initiatives and digital engineering transformation
- Engage in design reviews and artifact reviews with SMEs and cross-functional teams
- Build relationships with DoD technology partners to leverage capabilities
Key requirements- B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in Systems Engineering
- 4+ years in System and/or Security Architecture
- Effective communicator with varied audiences
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- JSIG, CNSSI 1253, RMF for design of secure information systems
- Systems engineering processes (requirements mgmt, decomposition, modeling, integration & test)
- Vulnerability analysis and risk mitigation
