Overview As Employment & Labor Of Counsel in our Los Angeles office, you will lead sophisticated employment and labor matters with an emphasis on wage and hour class actions and PAGA representations. You will join a collaborative team, handling a varied caseload from start to finish, and coordinating closely with partners and clients. Responsibilities- Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution
- Represent clients across a broad spectrum of employment and labor claims
- Collaborate with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly appear in court and handle depositions
- Provide clients with regular status updates and clear communication
Key requirements- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the State of California
- 7+ years of litigation experience
- Experience with wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative matters; discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination claims
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Legal project management experience (helpful)
