Overview In this role you drive the project controls for Micron's US expansion construction programs, guiding scheduling, risk, reporting, and change management to ensure on-time delivery. You will lead a cross-functional project controls team across design, construction, procurement, and operations, shaping best-in-class controls practices. You'll translate complex programs into measurable metrics and enable data-driven decisions that support large-scale facility builds. Responsibilities- Lead and develop the U.S. Project Controls team with mentorship and strategic direction
- Establish standards, metrics, risk management, reporting, and change management processes
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across engineering, construction, procurement, commissioning, operations, contractors, and end users
- Oversee project controls execution including schedule development, performance monitoring, and resource planning
- Manage consultants and ensure alignment with program objectives
- Drive continuous improvement and AI-enabled solutions for reporting, forecasting, and controls efficiency
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Scheduling, Project Controls, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years leading project controls, scheduling, or construction management on large capital projects
- 8+ years supporting semiconductor manufacturing facilities or related high-tech projects
- 10+ years building and developing high-performing construction teams
- Expertise in project controls, scheduling, risk management, change management, and partner engagement in complex environments
