Overview In this role you apply advanced health science and human performance expertise to solve DoD and science/tech challenges. You'll operate within an interdisciplinary team to translate operational needs into data-driven insights and measurable performance improvements. You will model complex biometric and neurocognitive data to produce commander-relevant guidance for high-risk occupations, while mentoring juniors and working with coaches, engineers, scientists, and SMEs. A security clearance and strong analytic mindset are essential to drive impact.

Responsibilities- Apply advanced health science and human performance expertise to client challenges
- Translate DoW needs into data requirements, analytical models, and actionable insights
- Interpret biometric and neurocognitive markers for leadership decisions
- Evaluate data from wearable sensors and health systems for product applicability
- Translate sport science concepts to high-risk occupations (e.g., military)
- Work independently with some guidance and mentor junior staff
Key requirements- Experience as a tactical human performance domain specialist
- Experience in exercise physiology, recovery, sleep, fatigue, cognition, and performance monitoring
- Ability to translate operational needs into data requirements and insights within an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to translate biometric and neurocognitive markers into commander-relevant insights
- Knowledge of human performance measures, metrics, tools, techniques, and solutions
- Ability to evaluate data from human performance technologies for product applicability
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Master's degree in a Human Performance field (e.g., Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, Sport & Performance Psychology, Cognition)
- NSCA CSCS or CCS Certification
- Nice to have: knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, and analytical models
- Nice to have: ability to build within data science tools (Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, QLIK)
- Nice to have: Doctorate in a related field
- Nice to have: CMPC Certification
