Overview As Quality and Records Manager at HDR, you will lead local quality efforts, support QMS adoption, and partner with area leadership to raise the quality culture. You guide project planning (PMP, QMP, RMP), coordinate with area project quality managers, and report on QMS progress and lessons learned. You will develop local processes, onboard new staff, and maintain alignment with ILG requirements while working cross-functionally. This role offers influence on how HDR delivers projects with quality and compliance.
Responsibilities- Serve as the local leadership representative for quality and support the implementation of the QMS
- Guide Project Managers on development of project plans (PMP, QMP, RMP) and identify best practices
- Coordinate with local area business group project quality managers on project support and sharing key project experience
- Regularly report QMS implementation, lessons learned, and audit resolution strategies to the Quality Office
- Communicate QMS and ILG updates and directives to area leadership and staff as appropriate
- Develop and update local area processes supporting QMS and ILG requirements
- Work cross-functionally with area leadership to align and refine local delivery processes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program to provide awareness of the HDR QMS
- Respond to staff questions related to policies and procedures of the QMS
- Identify local training opportunities by monitoring loss trends related to quality issues
Key requirements- Professional degree or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum 6 years industry experience with at least 3 years in related quality fields
- Applicable quality certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong understanding of QMS fundamentals
- Proven staff communication and engagement skills
- Strong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, Adobe PDF and PowerPoint
