Overview As Principal Scientist, you will architect an AI-Reasoning platform to support translational safety decisions across discovery and development. You'll develop multimodal reasoning systems that fuse diverse data sources and enable researchers to accelerate therapeutics from hypothesis to clinical trials. You lead and mentor teams, shape a research agenda, and aim for trustworthy, high-impact AI in R&D. Responsibilities- Pioneer multimodal AI systems that convert scientific data into actionable insights to speed drug discovery
- Design next-generation agent memory systems for persistent, context-aware decision making across discovery to development
- Advance AI reliability in R&D via uncertainty quantification and new standards for trustworthy AI-driven reasoning
- Provide scientific leadership and translate AI/ML frontiers into transformative applications while mentoring researchers
- Benchmark AI agents against top human experts and state-of-the-art methods, with opportunities to publish influential results
Key requirements- Ph.D. in AI/ML or related fields with 2+ years of experience
- Deep expertise in Bayesian inference, uncertainty quantification, information theory, causal inference, and graph neural networks
- Proficiency with LangGraph, DSPy, mem0 and deep learning platforms (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Excellent Python programming skills and ability to build scalable solutions for production
