Overview As Director of Architecture, you steer Data and AI architecture to enable scalable, secure, and high-impact analytics across Commercial & Investment Bank Operations. You will set architectural direction, drive AI enablement at the data layer, and govern decisions to balance innovation with resiliency and control. You lead cross-functional teams, own key initiatives, and shape the target state architecture to unlock value for the business. Responsibilities- Set the direction for Data architecture across transactional and analytics apps
- Drive AI enablement at the data layer with advanced data stores
- Lead technology and process implementations to meet architecture objectives and governance
- Promote reuse of enterprise AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation
- Make decisions affecting resources, budgets, and execution of processes
- Establish governance standards for AI-assisted workflows aligning with resiliency, security, and control
Key requirements- 15+ years of software architecture experience
- 5+ years architecting large-scale data analytics platforms
- Experience leading cross-functional architect teams and talent development
- Proven experience deploying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with data sensitivity awareness
- Ability to evaluate AI-assisted recommendations and ensure resiliency, security, and auditability
- Experience as Product Owner or Product Manager
