Overview As an Executive Commercial Lines Underwriter in Chubb's Small & Lower Midmarket Construction Practice, you drive new revenue growth by underwriting multiline construction accounts within your territory. You will collaborate with field underwriting, distribution, and operations to deliver seamless service and achieve production targets. The role emphasizes strong relationship-building with agents and internal partners to optimize cross-sell opportunities and maintain underwriting discipline. You help scale a growing construction segment with a focus on risk selection, profitability, and compliant processes.

Responsibilities- Underwrite multiline construction risks (Package, Umbrella, Workers Compensation, Auto, and ancillary lines) following established strategy and authority; follow referral processes for compliance
- Cross-sell additional lines to maximize account revenue (P&C, Multinational, Financial Lines, Cyber, A&H, etc.)
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers, field underwriting, and distribution to drive production
- Establish and maintain strong agent relationships to drive profitable growth
- Manage desk activities including production planning and forecasting for the assigned book of business
- Serve as an underwriting resource for peers within the construction industry practice
Key requirements- 5-7 years of commercial lines underwriting experience, preferably in construction
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- Established marketplace presence and relationships preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience driving profitable new business territory growth and building strong agency relationships
