Overview

As Technology Infrastructure Lead, you drive technical coordination and infrastructure integration for Planning & Development capital projects at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. You act as the primary interface between TDE and project teams, identifying risks, conflicts, and implementation needs across planning, design, construction, testing, and turnover. You ensure alignment with TDE standards and long-term supportability, while guiding design reviews and field coordination. This role offers a chance to shape critical infrastructure delivery within a high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in project initiation and planning meetings to identify technology scope and dependencies
  • Coordinate engagement of TDE SMEs throughout project development
  • Review design documents for infrastructure conflicts, constructability, and operational impact
  • Track design comments and ensure timely resolution between TDE SMEs and design consultants
  • Review RFIs, submittals, and field changes for technology impacts and support testing/turnover planning
  • Coordinate technology cutovers, activations, and implementation sequencing
  • Support transition of completed systems to TDE operations teams and participate in turnover activities
  • Maintain technology-related issue logs and provide status updates to leadership
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years in technology infrastructure, systems integration, construction support, or project delivery
  • Experience supporting design and construction projects with technology infrastructure
  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings and technology design documents
  • Working knowledge of network, fiber, cabling, telecom, wireless, access control, CCTV, and low-voltage systems
  • Ability to operate in active operational environments and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit (preferred)
  • PMP, BICSI, ITIL, CCNA, CCNP or similar certifications preferred
  • Occasional travel may be required
