Senior Specialist, Financial Administration

Overview

In this role you will manage core financial processes for ProShares' ETFs and mutual funds and serve as the bridge between internal teams and external service providers. You will guide vendors, support product launches, and contribute to process improvements that strengthen controls. The position supports timely, accurate financial reporting, expense management, distributions, and tax reporting in a dynamic, precision-focused environment. You help drive operational excellence and risk management to sustain innovative fund offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Manage financial processes across funds: reporting, expense management, distributions, and tax reporting
  • Oversee external financial service vendors (administrators, fund accountants, auditors, tax accountants) for alignment and accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal teams on fund launches and enhancements requiring financial input
  • Engage in problem-solving and process improvement to refine procedures and internal controls
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on fund administration and operation
  • Contribute to risk management by ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; CPA desirable
  • 3+ years' experience in related financial services roles; SEC experience helpful
  • Solid grounding in fund accounting, financial reporting, or auditing
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects
  • Analytical mindset with proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
