Overview In this Health Planner II role, you contribute to planning, design, and coordination on healthcare projects within HDR's architecture practice. You'll develop accurate drawings, specs, and presentations, applying building codes, materials, and design procedures. You'll work with cross-functional teams to support health-focused designs that advance community well-being, leveraging healthcare trends and research. This position offers impact through shaping healthcare environments and collaborating across disciplines.
Responsibilities- Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
- Create accurate drawings and specification documents; assist in preparing presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives
- Research, plan, design and administer building projects applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and materials
- Understand healthcare trends to inform health planning decisions
- Assist the lead Health Planner in preparing presentation materials and coordinating disciplines across the project
- Assist coordination of all disciplines related to building design and health planning
- Perform other duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in A/E industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles for production of technical plans and drawings
