Overview As an Applied Scientist II at Amazon, you will architect and advance an AI-driven data intelligence and classification platform for security and privacy at scale. You will lead the technical strategy for autonomous, multi-agent AI agents and integrate with security, privacy, and cloud-native tools. You'll shape enterprise-wide security posture through innovative AI solutions and data governance, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver self-serve insights and enforcement capabilities. Responsibilities- Architect and define the next-generation data classification and search matching platform and technical strategy for AI-driven security automation
- Extend multi-agent LLM framework and guide organizational adoption of advanced AI approaches
- Develop scalable ML and LLM-based security agent frameworks for processing structured and unstructured data
- Provide technical leadership across the team while conducting hands-on work to diagnose and optimize system performance
Key requirements- 3+ years of building models for business applications
- PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field
- Experience with patents or publications in top-tier venues
- Programming experience in Java, C++, or Python
- Background in algorithms, data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing
