Overview As Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase, you shape secure cloud-native solutions and drive risk-aware design across software applications. You will serve as a core technical contributor, communicating risk and mitigation strategies to diverse business functions while advancing AI-assisted security within the SDLC. You'll lead evaluations with external and internal teams, promote cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, and build analytics capabilities that translate risk data into actionable insights for executives. Responsibilities- Define the target state for cybersecurity products and drive strategy execution
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams on cybersecurity designs and credentials
- Lead communities of practice to promote new cybersecurity technologies
- Promote reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation within SDLC/toolchains
- Conduct risk analysis on key risk drivers and perform root-cause analysis
- Develop analytics tools and dashboards to translate risk data into decision-ready insights
- Design data models/pipelines integrating security tooling, GRC, asset inventories, IAM, ticketing, and cloud logs
- Establish analytics cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for risk reviews
- Automate insights generation (anomalies, narratives, drill-down workflows) to reduce manual reporting
Key requirements- Formal training or certification in cybersecurity architecture
- 5+ years of applied experience in cybersecurity architecture
- Hands-on experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions and controls
- Experience using enterprise AI capabilities with strong data sensitivity awareness
- Ability to assess/validate AI-assisted security recommendations
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management concepts (threat, vulnerability, exposure, likelihood/impact, control design vs operating effectiveness)
- Deep expertise in one or more programming languages/software/applications
- Proficiency in SDLC, automation/CI/CD, and agile security practices
- Practical cloud-native experience and understanding of modern tech domains (AI/ML, etc.)
