Sr. Human Resources Business Partner - North America

Overview

In this role you will partner with senior leaders across North America to advance workforce strategies that boost performance and long-term success. You will coach managers, align HR programs with business goals, and lead change initiatives in a hybrid, cross-functional environment. You'll help shape talent management, onboarding, and engagement efforts that support NSF's mission to improve health and safety. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and people-centered transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted coach to leaders on HR matters including performance management, compensation, and benefits
  • Align HR policies and programs to promote employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Collaborate with management as a strategic advisor to identify and prioritize HR initiatives aligning with organizational goals
  • Support culture of continuous improvement by providing suggestions and new ideas
  • Champion organizational change initiatives using change management principles
  • Oversee onboarding process execution for new employees
  • Advocate for talent development to help individuals reach their potential
  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends
  • Facilitate leadership and coaching culture
  • Identify and share best practices across global functions and HR
  • Execute day-to-day HR tasks such as system updates, employee relations topics, coaching and feedback
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • minimum of 5 years of HR experience
  • strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • significant knowledge of HR policies, processes (workforce planning and talent management), and talent management practices
  • ability to facilitate business conversations at all levels of the organization
