Overview

In this role you will support and advance our BIM/VDC processes on construction projects, working closely with field teams to ensure model quality and timely coordination. You will build and revise models for site logistics, structures, architecture, and MEP systems, while tracking progress and coordinating with stakeholders. Your work helps reduce conflicts, improve takeoffs, and enable accurate scheduling and field verification. Responsibilities
  • Support BIM/VDC processes on assigned projects
  • Spend time on site supporting field construction processes
  • Create models for site logistics, structure, architecture, and MEP/FP systems
  • Validate model quality and accuracy; perform revisions and manage distribution
  • Create, revise, and maintain 4D schedule; maintain coordination schedules
  • Distribute BIM/VDC coordination files; lead conflict resolution
  • Track and report coordination progress and efficiency
  • Create and distribute coordination meeting minutes
  • Create dimensioned drawings from the model for field use
  • Support BIM/VDC layout on projects and assist in field as-built verification
  • Validate model accuracy for model-based quantity takeoff; assist in quantity surveys
  • Model components as needed for accurate quantity takeoff
Key requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of project engineering experience preferred
  • General knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and software
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Problem-solving skills with task prioritization
  • Understanding of construction terminology, materials, drawings, specifications, scheduling concepts, and quality control
