Overview As a field-based Medical Science Liaison for bone health, you will represent Amgen's scientific platform to physicians, payers, and other decision-makers across the territory. You will translate clinical data into value, support local R&D tactics, and contribute to the Scientific Engagement Plan while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers impact in osteoporosis and bone health, with opportunities to lead local initiatives, speaker training, and congress activities. You will help advance Amgen's mission to serve patients by applying scientific rigor in real-world settings.

Responsibilities- Serve as field medical expert for the territory within the MSL group
- Communicate scientific data to diverse medical stakeholders and report observations
- Support SEP development and local R&D tactics
- Educate healthcare stakeholders on clinical value, outcomes, and economics
- Provide pharmacoeconomic and clinical support to payers and IDNs
- Respond to inquiries in compliance with MSL standards
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional project teams and congress activities
- Advance MSL value proposition and maintain professional development
Key requirements- Doctorate degree OR Master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
- Two years of industry experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
- Managed market/payer/IDN engagement experience
- Two or more years in clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research
- Osteoporosis and Bone Health Therapeutic area expertise
- Preferred: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. or other doctoral degrees
