Overview In this role you will lead multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver large water and wastewater treatment projects, shaping technical solutions and client relationships. You will work across offices to ensure high-quality designs, construction administration, and impactful reports, while pursuing innovative treatment technologies. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and support business development to grow client partnerships. This is a hands-on leadership position with significant client interaction and project oversight.

Responsibilities- Lead analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for water/wastewater treatment and related facility projects
- Mentor and manage engineers and designers across multiple offices and disciplines
- Coordinate scope, schedule, and budget to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery
- Serve as primary client contact, maintaining trust and long-term relationships
- Collaborate on advanced treatment technologies (MBR, EBPR, RO, desalination)
- Support proposal development and participate in business development with existing and prospective clients
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and regulatory representatives
- Manage complex, multi-discipline treatment plant projects and teams
- Experience with projects in the $1M+ fee range (preferred)
- Strong emphasis on communication, design, and construction contract administration
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering; Texas PE license or ability to become licensed in Texas within 6 months
- 8+ years of related water and wastewater treatment experience (plant process evaluation, design, and construction)
