Responsibilities- Lead architectural design across project phases including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Develop design concepts for pursuits and commissioned projects in Higher Education and Science & Technology (laboratory) markets.
- Collaborate with designers, planners, project architects, and engineers; produce drawings, renderings, and design assignments.
- Prepare and lead design presentations and participate in project interviews.
- Provide oversight and mentoring of junior staff; participate in performance coaching.
- Participate in employment interviews and serve as design expert and leader.
Key requirements- Bachelor in Architecture or higher; minimum 10 years of professional experience as an architectural designer leading medium to large projects
- LEED AP preferred; Architectural Registration preferred
- Strong portfolio across Higher Education and Science & Technology (laboratory) markets
- Experience leading design teams and project groups
- Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD; experience with Rhino, Lumion, Enscape
