Responsibilities- Manage civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction
- Serve as primary client contact to ensure successful delivery and long-term relationships
- Lead project teams across multiple offices of engineers, designers, and technical staff
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and overall performance
- Act as Engineer of Record when applicable and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and permitting
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and other disciplines
- Review plans, specifications, reports, and deliverables for quality and compliance
- Support site development and municipal infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, grading)
- Assist in proposal development, fee preparation, client presentations, and business development
- Participate in client meetings, project reviews, and construction-related activities
- Mentor and guide junior/mid-level staff
- Contribute to growth of Columbus office and Ohio markets
- Maintain a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence, quality, and client satisfaction
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Active PE license in Ohio
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience focused on site development and/or municipal infrastructure
- Experience managing civil projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Strong client communication, presentation, and relationship management
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Familiarity with Ohio permitting processes, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of project scope, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment
