Overview As Director of Development and Construction, you will oversee site development and entitlement through construction for multiple retail projects in Frisco, TX. You will lead budgets, schedules, design, and reporting, coordinating with external consultants and internal teams. The role combines hands-on management with strategic oversight to deliver on-time, in-budget retail developments. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to advance GRREP's market expansion goals and ensure scalable, cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities- Oversee entitlement process from project start through construction
- Create preliminary budgets for all projects
- Create and manage overall project schedules
- Oversee and manage site design (architectural, civil, landscape, signage)
- Manage information and reporting via eBuilder (milestones, cost reporting, documentation)
- Manage outside consultants (geotechnical, environmental engineers, architects, civil engineers, surveyors, sign vendors, attorneys)
- Travel as necessary to support projects
Key requirements- Minimum 10 years of experience in development and construction of retail/commercial buildings
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Project, plus web-based PM software similar to Expesite
