Overview In this role you oversee construction field management and inspections for transmission lines and substations in Massachusetts. You will supervise Construction Representatives and collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality work. You'll enforce environmental and safety programs while guiding contractor performance. You will contribute to major regional transmission projects that support grid reliability and the clean energy transition. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on delivering critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Supervise all construction field management activities for substation and transmission-line projects using contractor resources
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering, scheduling, procurement, and field staff to ensure safe, timely, and quality work
- Manage construction phase aspects including cost, productivity, schedule, and adherence to company policies
- Ensure compliance with environmental programs and regulatory requirements
- Drive safety culture and world-class safety performance across teams
- Coordinate with internal groups and external partners to optimize project delivery
- Remain on-call system-wide and travel as needed within MA/CT/NH
Key requirements- Detailed knowledge of transmission construction
- Thorough knowledge of work practices, procedures, and safety requirements
- Understanding of transmission power system operations, maintenance, and construction
- Strong human resources management and business planning skills
- Working knowledge of information technology and office systems
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 5-10 years of construction, maintenance, or related experience
- Experience in energy delivery and transmission preferred
- Supervisory experience with both non-bargaining and bargaining unit employees preferred
