Overview As a Project Manager in Woolpert's Transportation Team in Texas, you will lead the execution of transportation projects from proposal to design, guiding staff and coordinating cross-functional teams. You may also support nationwide and global projects as a subject matter expert. You'll drive quality, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and cultivate client and consultant relationships. Responsibilities- Lead project teams through preliminary engineering, detailed design, and quantity estimation for transportation projects
- Ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget with defined quality standards
- Manage internal and client cross-functional teams
- Pursue new work by leveraging relationships with clients and consultants
- Engage in professional societies and conferences, contributing expertise and visibility
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Active Texas PE license or ability to obtain within one year
- TXDOT prequalifications in Bridge Design, Multi-Level Interchange Design, and Culvert/Inlet Design
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge design
- Willingness to travel 10-15% to client sites
- Knowledge of TXDOT Project Development Process; familiarity with local design processes is a plus
- TXDOT precertifications in bridge design/development
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
