Responsibilities- Direct daily execution and compliance of plant food safety programs (HACCP, Food Safety Plans, Pest Control, Environmental Monitoring, FDA standards).
- Lead non-conformance investigations for food safety and micro deviations, driving root-cause analysis via CAPA.
- Lead internal GMP audits and coordinate readiness for external FDA, USDA, and SQF inspections.
- Manage environmental swabbing and microbial sampling per Quality SOPs.
- Oversee internal GMP and quality system audits to identify risks and track Quality KPIs.
- Collaborate with Plant Engineering to integrate sanitary equipment design into capital projects.
- Design and deliver targeted food safety training to onboard and upskill staff.
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on food safety experience in manufacturing with HACCP and FDA/USDA regulatory systems.
