Overview In this role you will lead and develop the Brokerage Claims Division within a national brokerage environment. You will train and mentor the claims team while aligning efforts with senior management to optimize commercial lines outcomes, including real estate, construction, and NY Labor Law exposures. You'll tackle complex coverage issues and drive improvements in claims operations. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the Downstate NY regions with a competitive compensation package. You will shape claims leadership and contribute to the firm's client-safety and service standards.

Responsibilities- Provide training, development, and leadership to the Claims Division
- Manage and guide current claims operations
- Collaborate with senior management on strategy and performance
- Enhance coverage analysis and technical understanding within the team
- Support real estate, construction, and general liability claims initiatives
- Contribute to process improvements and risk management across claims operations
Key requirements- Background in brokerage/agency claims leadership
- Experience with commercial lines, including real estate, construction, and NY Labor Law
- Experience managing or leading claims operations
- Bachelor's and/or advanced degree; JD is a plus
- Strong technical, coverage, communication, and organizational skills
