Overview In this role you support Air Combat Command by shaping ABMS CMCC processes and training, ensuring readiness and effective operations. You'll work with cross-functional teams to integrate TACS with Joint and Coalition partners and drive TTP development and concept of operation designs. You'll represent the program in meetings and provide speaking/writing support to advance defense modernization goals. This position offers hybrid work and targets local candidates near Hampton/Langley, VA, with a focus on enhancing CMCC capabilities and readiness.
Responsibilities- Manage and improve ABMS CMCC processes, personnel levels, efficiency, equipment capabilities, and training requirements
- Support TACS integration with Joint and Coalition partners; develop employment solutions within Joint and Service Doctrine; propose TTP and concepts of operation
- Manage CMCC readiness program and contribute to meetings, conferences, working groups, and related activities; provide speaking/writing support as needed
Key requirements- US citizen
- Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and Special Access eligibility
- Bachelor and 14 years or Master and 12 years or relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Command and Control (C2), operations center, and training systems experience
- National security experience in USAF C2, operations center, and training systems
- MAJCOM or higher staff experience of at least 3 years
- Former Air Battle Manager or other rated aircrew with relevant C2 experience
- Travel 10%
- Effective communication in meetings and documentation
