Databricks Platform Architect

As Databricks Solution Architect, you will lead the design and deployment of enterprise-scale data platforms on the Databricks Lakehouse, aligning architectures with business goals. You'll blend deep data engineering with cloud know-how and drive architectural leadership and stakeholder engagement. Your work will span end-to-end data pipelines, governance, and modernization efforts, delivering scalable, maintainable solutions. • Design end-to-end Databricks-based data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Lead technical discussions, provide best practices, and mentor engineers
• Collaborate with product owners and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Implement data governance, security controls, lineage, cataloging, and data quality practices
• Identify improvements and modernization opportunities, staying current with Databricks features and ecosystem

• Databricks expertise with hands-on experience (clusters, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog)
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong Spark, Python, SQL and distributed data processing skills
• Experience designing large-scale data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics solutions
• Streaming experience (Structured Streaming, Kafka, Kinesis, EventHub)
• CI/CD for data pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement in Agile environments
