Overview As Staff Compensation Manager, you shapeZoox's compensation strategy to support rapid growth and talent outcomes. You will lead executive compensation programs (M5+) and drive market-informed approaches across geographies. By partnering with senior leadership, People Partners, Finance, and Recruiting, you'll create scalable frameworks and data-driven insights that align with Total Rewards and business priorities. This role combines strategic design with hands-on tooling, preparing the function for scale and potential leadership succession.

Responsibilities- Design and evolve executive (M5+) compensation frameworks, including base, equity, and incentives
- Provide analysis and recommendations for complex compensation decisions
- Align executive compensation with strategy, internal equity, and external competitiveness
- Lead high-impact initiatives (M&A integration, job architecture evolution, organizational design)
- Develop scalable compensation frameworks and tools across the organization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align compensation with People and business initiatives
- Maintain market pricing strategies across roles, functions, and geographies
- Support expansion into new cities/markets with data-driven recommendations
- Analyze external market trends and internal data to inform strategies
- Build models for workforce planning, retention analysis, and scenario planning
- Provide structured options and tradeoffs for leadership decisions
- Create tools/templates to improve consistency and scalability of processes
- Partner with HRIS and Compensation Analysts to ensure data integrity and integration
- Advise senior leaders on complex compensation topics
- Integrate compensation within the broader Total Rewards strategy
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's or certifications are a plus
- 8+ years of compensation experience with executive exposure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with modeling and data-driven decision-making
- Deep understanding of compensation practices, benchmarking, and regulatory considerations
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with structured thinking
- Strong communication and influencing skills with senior leaders
