Overview As Project Manager, you oversee construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You are the main point of contact for owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and internal teams, guiding budgets and schedules. You manage costs, forecasts, and contract administration, driving financial performance. You'll work with cross-functional teams on projects from $5M to $50M, shaping outcomes and client relationships. This role offers impact in a leading construction firm with dynamic teamwork.
Responsibilities- Lead projects through planning, procurement, execution, and closeout phases
- Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Review drawings, specs, and contracts to identify issues and solutions
- Manage subcontractor buyout, contracts, and change orders
- Monitor costs, productivity, and financial performance to optimize efficiency
- Conduct regular project meetings and timely reporting
- Collaborate with superintendents to maintain quality and safety
- Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience with commercial general contractors
- Experience managing projects valued between $5 million and $50 million
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
