Lead Architect - Enterprise & AI Enablement

Overview

In this role you will shape AI-powered development platforms for enterprise citizen developers. You'll design governance-focused architectures, guardrails, and reusable patterns that balance ease of use with security and compliance. You'll collaborate across architecture, security, privacy, and platform teams to scale AI capabilities responsibly. You will influence adoption through templates, training, and mentorship while contributing to a Center of Excellence. This is an opportunity to drive enterprise-wide AI enablement within a supportive, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide domain expertise in AI platforms, agent frameworks, low-code/no-code ecosystems, and enterprise integration patterns
  • Design reference architectures, reusable patterns, and guardrails for AI-enabled development
  • Establish governance-by-design with embedded security, compliance, explainability, and transparency controls
  • Research and test new technologies for use with agent platforms
  • Participate in and contribute to the Center of Excellence for citizen agent development
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams to validate solutions and drive adoption
  • Enable reuse via templates, components, and accelerators to reduce complexity
  • Promote adoption through training, guidance, and mentoring across technical and business teams
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years in software engineering or enterprise architecture
  • Experience with modern AI concepts including agentic AI, MCP servers, or AI plugins/skills
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, and secure integration patterns
  • Security, resiliency, and operational architecture principles
  • Experience with Claude AI, Copilot Studio, or similar ecosystems
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives with cross-organizational engagement
