Responsibilities- Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization related to title insurance commitments and policies
- Apply underwriting standards within delegated limits to issue title insurance
- Guide company personnel in performing real estate settlement services
- Issue underwriting standards and guidelines according to established processes
Key requirements- 8-10 years title underwriting experience; commercial experience preferred
- Law degree required and admitted to practice law in the state of employment
- Licensed to practice law, in good standing
- Familiar with real estate law
- Strong understanding of real estate title and settlement processes
