Overview In this role you support the commercial real estate (CRE) team by handling administrative duties and portfolio management. You will monitor loan performance, covenant compliance, and risk indicators while assisting Relationship Managers to deliver strong client experiences. You will analyze financials, property metrics, and market trends to maintain portfolio quality and provide timely reports. This position blends client service with risk-aware CRE expertise in a team-focused, integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities- Assist with general portfolio management of CRE loans, monitoring loan agreements and processing construction draws for accuracy and compliance
- Analyze borrower financials, property performance, lease-up progress, construction milestones, and market trends to maintain risk ratings and portfolio quality
- Serve as CRE subject matter expert and trusted advisor to C&I bankers on owner-occupied real estate construction, acquisitions, and refinancing from review to closing and loan administration
- Communicate with customers to gather financial information and documentation
- Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver excellent client experiences and coordinate across teams, including syndicated loan relationships
- Produce internal reports for quarterly reviews and ongoing portfolio health assessments
- Monitor loan performance and covenant compliance; proactively identify emerging risks or opportunities in the CRE portfolio
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with internal partners and stay informed on loan policy updates and bank products/services

Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of experience in commercial banking or portfolio management; or related experience
- Completion of Frost's Financial Services University training
- Ability to assess and understand credit risk and loan structures
- Record of high-quality underwriting work
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and high attention to detail
