Overview In this role you help optimize water and wastewater facilities from startup to ongoing operations, working with clients to improve performance, safety, and efficiency. You'll lead commissioning and testing efforts, develop SOPs and training, and guide facility optimization based on data and performance reviews. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support transitions, staff development, and client pursuits, contributing to Carollo's mission to advance the science of water.

Responsibilities- Assist clients to optimize staffing, power, and chemical costs at treatment plants
- Develop process startup, commissioning, and testing plans
- Create site inspection checklists for construction
- Lead commissioning, startup, and testing efforts arising from Design Contracts
- Advise on startup adjustments and facility tuning
- Lead creation of Standard Operating Procedures and comparable documentation
- Prepare operator training courses
- Lead updates to O&M manuals (paper and electronic)
- Provide facility optimization services
- Conduct overall systems performance evaluations and detailed process optimization reviews
- Review operating and laboratory data and data collection methodology
- Evaluate staffing levels and training needs
- Prepare process trouble-shooting guidelines
- Assist clients in staff development and transition planning
- Evaluate and develop strategies for operational data acquisition and presentation
- Assist with client marketing and project pursuits
- Attend and participate in selected conferences
Key requirements- Extensive experience in water and/or wastewater process operations
- Knowledge of regulated water/wastewater business and regulatory requirements
- Minimum of ten (15) years of experience with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity
- Upper-level licensing in water and/or wastewater treatment plant operation
- AAS in Water Quality Management, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Environmental Science or related field of study
