Overview As Senior Superintendent, you will oversee on-site execution of complex construction projects to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality and safety compliance. You will lead field teams, coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders, and drive issue resolution and risk management. You'll shape safety and quality standards across jobsites while optimizing resources and schedule. This role offers impact through hands-on leadership across multiple projects and critical transitions from preconstruction to operations.

Responsibilities- Supervise field personnel, coach them in construction procedures and sequencing, and conduct performance evaluations
- Oversee field activities, resource usage, and coordination at multiple sites; monitor progress and address risks
- Develop and implement safety plans and quality standards; ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, procurement, and cost control to meet schedule and profitability goals
- Lead preconstruction activities (constructability, schedule, logistics, design, formwork) and support turnover to owner
- Facilitate transitions from preconstruction to operations and manage jobsite mobilization and kickoff
- Support business development activities including pursuits, estimating, and client interviews
- Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, unions, and regulatory agencies
- Report project status and field progress to leadership; participate in field and progress meetings
- Perform manual field work when necessary and assist with closeout processes to ensure smooth turnover
Key requirements- Experience in K-14 (DSA) project environments
- Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
- Extensive field construction experience (8+ years) with supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to oversee multiple projects over a large geographic area
- Strong knowledge of trades, reading specifications, and supervising training
- Leadership and negotiation skills; strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of contract law and project accounting; familiarity with scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and building systems
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, unions, and city departments
