Overview In this role you will drive growth and ensure high-value client relationships while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver Kennedy Jenks' services efficiently. You will lead strategic business development, oversee project delivery, and mentor client service teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget. You will act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, shaping proposals and engagement plans. This hybrid, collaborative position offers the opportunity to impact project outcomes and expand our footprint in Northern California.

Responsibilities- Business development: cultivate clients and partners to win new work and hit sales targets
- Project delivery: optimize operations to meet timelines, budgets, and scope
- Team leadership: guide client service teams and coordinate resources
- Project management: serve as Deputy or Project Manager with full scope/schedule/budget responsibility
- Client engagement: lead client presentations, proposals, and strategy with Marketing & Proposals
Key requirements- Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Experience: 10+ years in water/wastewater engineering consulting with proven business development success
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Technical Skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools
- Client service: strong ability to manage relationships and understand client needs
- Communication: strong writing, editing, and research skills
- Problem solving: strong analytical abilities
- Travel: ability to travel within Northern California
