Overview In this role, you'll lead and mentor the architectural team through design and construction phases, aligning with client needs and project goals. You'll interface with internal stakeholders and management to ensure technical quality and constructability. You'll drive design development from studies to Construction Documents and uphold office standards. This position offers the chance to shape high-profile pharma/life science facilities within a global, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities- Train and develop Architectural Designers in processes and standards
- Coordinate and oversee the team to deliver technically sound solutions
- Review architectural drawings for completeness, constructability, and coordination
- Collaborate with design teams and lead development of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents
- Maintain primary accountability for architectural designs and share design responsibilities
- Mentor interns and junior team members
- Contribute to office standards and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 10+ years of experience
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical and life science facilities or advanced technology facilities / Semiconductor
- Architectural License (AIA) required
- Bachelor in Architecture required
- Master in Architecture preferred
- NCARB Certificate preferred
- Experience with Autodesk Building System Software
- Experience with Design-Build a plus
- Experience working in global teams and/or multi-office project execution desirable
