Overview In this role you will diagnose and treat eye disorders, including pediatric cases, and lead clinical care within a multidisciplinary team. You will educate patients and families on eye health, perform pediatric ophthalmology procedures, and contribute to learner training. Responsibilities- Conduct eye examinations, diagnose and treat eye disorders, and monitor progression
- Educate children and parents on eye health and preventive care
- Perform pediatric ophthalmology surgical procedures to address congenital or developmental conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage pediatric eye care
- Document medical records accurately and timely
- Participate in training and education of medical students and residents
Key requirements- MD or DO (or Foreign Medical Equivalent Degree)
- USMLE Step 3 completed
- Ophthalmology residency completed
- Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology completed or in progress
