Overview As a Medical Science Liaison for TMAC, you will build relationships with respiratory virus disease state physicians and investigators, supporting education, enrollment initiatives, and scientific exchange. You will act as a bridge between Medical Affairs, sites, and CROs, ensuring compliant communication and data sharing. You'll travel to engage key thought leaders, present study information, and gather insights to inform research and trials. This role combines field-based engagement with strategic collaboration to advance client-sponsored studies and medical education.
Responsibilities- Identify and engage clinical investigators, site staff, and referring physicians to foster relationships and support enrollment
- Engage RSV thought leaders and Centers of Excellence to drive collaboration
- Allocate four field days and one administrative day per week to field activities
- Prepare and present study information to investigators and site staff to generate participation interest
- Discuss enrollment challenges with sites and investigators and propose practical solutions
- Educate sites and investigators about disease state and study design upon request
- Build relationships with stakeholders across Medical Affairs, R&D, and site teams (monitors, CRAs)
- Report adverse events and product concerns per Client policies
- Maintain deep clinical data fluency to convey scientific and clinical aspects of Client's compounds
- Attend conferences to gain insights and nurture investigator relationships
- Route investigator inquiries to appropriate internal contacts for follow-up
- TBD on additional responsibilities: TL mapping beyond Tier 1, CoER engagement, trial outcomes sharing, medical meeting insights, literature surveillance, Journal Club, Investigator Sponsored Research discussions, and related Medical Affairs projects
Key requirements- Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to communicate scientific information to internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; adaptability; strong interpersonal abilities
- Track record of effective and influential presentations to healthcare professionals
