Overview

In this role you will design and execute studies to evaluate targets for RNAi-based therapies, contributing to the nomination process within a cross-functional team. You will generate in vitro and in vivo data to support target validation and data-driven decisions, communicating findings to stakeholders. The position combines hands-on molecular biology and cell-based assay work with in vivo rodent studies, enabling you to shape the early discovery pipeline. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on innovative therapeutics with a strong emphasis on data integrity and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute studies to evaluate targets for nomination into RNAi discovery programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams under project leads to meet goals
  • Execute molecular biology assays (RNA/DNA/protein extraction, qPCR, ELISA, WB, etc.)
  • Design, develop, and execute in vitro cell-based assays (cell lines, spheroids, organoids, iPSC culture; 96/384-well formats) to probe target pathways and drug activity
  • Perform in vivo procedures in rodents and administer therapeutics using established methods
  • Analyze, interpret, and document data with strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Present results to stakeholders within teams and across the organization
Key requirements
  • Bachelor degree in a scientific discipline with 5+ years of relevant lab experience or Master with 3+ years of relevant lab experience
  • Hands-on experience with standard molecular biology techniques
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
  • Hands-on experience with 96-well and 384-well plate-based assays
  • Basic rodent in vivo skills and tissue processing/primary cell culture preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot assays independently and design experiments
  • Strong understanding of experimental design and data interpretation
  • Flexibility to take on new tasks and work under tight deadlines
