Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload focused on medical malpractice claims
- Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and partners on strategic legal projects
- Take ownership of case-related activities including court appearances, depositions, motion hearings, and trial participation
- Maintain regular client communication with detailed updates and proactive solutions
- Draft and review pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements
- Contribute to case strategy development and support senior team members for trials and settlements
Key requirements- JD from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of CA
- Minimum 2 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or healthcare defense
- Nursing Home defense experience is a plus
