Overview

As Network Domain Architect, you will lead the design and governance of large-scale enterprise networks across data centers, WAN, LAN, and cloud. You will align network architectures with business strategies, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security. You'll evaluate new technologies, standardize solutions, and serve as a technical authority guiding senior engineers. This role offers impact through shaping secure, high-performance networks and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a software-focused company.

Responsibilities
  • Design, review, and govern large-scale enterprise network architectures across data centre, WAN, LAN, and cloud environments
  • Create scalable, resilient, and performance-optimized network designs aligned with business/technology strategies
  • Evaluate, recommend, and adopt emerging networking technologies to support evolving needs
  • Compare, select, and standardize solutions with leading network vendors and platforms
  • Define vendor-agnostic architectures leveraging best-of-breed technologies
  • Design secure network architectures with measures like segmentation, encryption, firewalling, and security-framework integration
  • Balance security, performance, and usability while meeting regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Provide technical leadership to guide senior engineers and cross-functional teams on architecture decisions and standards
  • Act as a technical authority and escalation point for complex network design challenges
  • Collaborate to broaden AI mindset in network design
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience designing enterprise networks across data centre, WAN, LAN, and cloud
  • Strong leadership to guide engineers and cross-functional teams
  • VoIP and unified communications architecture knowledge
  • Security-focused network design expertise (segmentation, encryption, firewalling, enterprise security integrations)
  • Vendor-agnostic architecture skills with ability to standardize solutions
  • Capability to act as technical authority and escalation point
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Experience with evaluating and adopting emerging networking technologies
  • Strong problem solving and operational excellence focus
  • Ability to balance security, performance, and usability
