Responsibilities- Resolve complex construction project issues, disputes and disagreements
- Monitor progress against schedules and cost controls
- Assess and manage change orders and their impact
- Assist with bid and contract planning and vendor/specification reviews
- Provide fiscal management across multiple projects and oversee cost control
- Lead contract administration and quality control for architects and consultants
- Coordinate program activities with internal client branches
- Manage field activities with General Contractors and report project status
- Lead staff and project reporting
- Ensure overall administration of contracts and dispute resolution
Key requirements- BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Seven years of experience in facilities design and capital project coordination (preferred)
- Five years of general construction management for public works
- Experience with BIM
- Design-Build or progressive design-build experience
- Experience managing projects $90M+
- CA-specific licenses or credentials preferred (Architect or Professional Engineer)
- CMCI Construction Manager credential and LEED accreditation (preferred)
