Overview As an OMS Support Architect, you will lead IBM Sterling OMS architecture and implementation, ensuring a scalable, integrated order management ecosystem. You will partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into robust OMS solutions, focusing on sourcing, inventory visibility, order hub, and order orchestration. You drive platform optimization, troubleshoot end-to-end order lifecycles, and guide cross functional delivery across onshore and offshore teams. This role offers impact through shaping enterprise OMS capabilities in a cloud-enabled, multi-system environment.

Responsibilities- Provide architectural leadership and implementation support for IBM Sterling OMS
- Optimize OMS capabilities: sourcing, inventory visibility, order hub, order orchestration
- Analyze end-to-end order lifecycle transactions across OMS and connected apps
- Lead solution design and evaluate configuration versus customization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable OMS solutions
- Support development and QA with technical guidance and acceptance criteria
- Analyze integration failures, data flows, payloads, and transaction exceptions to determine root causes
- Design and support integrations between OMS, ERP, WMS, eCommerce, EDI, and supply chain platforms
- Document architecture, processes, interfaces, and dependencies
- Drive platform improvement, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency
- Coordinate delivery between onshore and offshore teams
Key requirements- 5-9+ years of IBM Sterling OMS experience (Sourcing, Inventory Visibility, Order Hub, Order Orchestration)
- 2+ years leading onshore/offshore teams in a Technical Lead or Architect role
- Experience designing OMS solutions and weighing customization vs. configuration
- Experience deploying or supporting OMS in cloud environments (IBM Cloud preferred)
- Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, and end-to-end order management processes
- Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- OMS integrations with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Experience with omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS, Ship-from-Store, Dropship, Returns)
- Kafka, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or other middleware/integration platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale retail, distribution, or supply chain environments
- Automation, testing, and OMS modernization experience
