Overview

In this role, you will lead ESPP plan administration within AECOM's Global Benefits & Well-being team, shaping plan design and participant experience. You will work with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment across benefit programs and regulatory compliance. The position offers hybrid work in Dallas or Los Angeles, with global scope and opportunities to apply AI to improve efficiency. You will help drive retirement and stock program strategies that support the company's mission to deliver a better world.

Responsibilities
  • Own ESPP administration, including plan design recommendations and participant experience
  • Oversee ESPP operations: enrollment, purchase periods, payroll deductions, refunds, dispositions, data file maintenance
  • Maintain ESPP records, manage vendors, ensure data exchange and reconciliations
  • Support ESPP communications and educational materials on plan design and value
  • Ensure compliance with IRC Section 423, global tax regulations, and securities laws
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards, Compensation, and Equity teams to align benefits
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and Equity Administration to align operations with financial reporting
  • Support plan governance activities: committee meetings, fiduciary docs, audits, RFPs
  • Research ESPP expansion globally and opportunities including AI to improve operations
  • Act as trusted advisor to HR leadership to analyze and resolve issues timely
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in retirement and stock programs
  • Serve as back-up for Qualified and Non-Qualified plan administration
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • at least 6 years of relevant experience
  • significant hands-on ESPP experience
  • knowledge of Section 423 ESPP, SEC regulations, ERISA, DOL, IRS requirements
  • experience managing global ESPP programs for publicly traded companies
