Overview In this role you bridge advanced X-ray hardware/software systems with customer fabs, focusing on software applications support, algorithm evaluation, and issue resolution. You will tailor software parameters, validate new features with R&D, and serve as the technical liaison to guide software releases. The position blends hands-on tool support, data processing, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust metrology solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with impact on software workflows and field readiness.

Responsibilities- Provide high-level applications support including customer training and product demonstrations
- Deliver high-level software support through workflow optimization and hands-on troubleshooting
- Analyze customer metrology needs and build tailored software parameter setups, recipes, and automation workflows
- Collaborate with R&D, software engineering, and product management to qualify new software features, data processing algorithms, and bug fixes
- Assist in pre- and post-sale tool/software environment setup and provide specialist user support after installation
- Act as Voice of Customer to collect bug reports, usability feedback, and feature requests for future releases
- Develop and disseminate technical documentation, deployment guidelines, and best-known methods for sales and field users
Key requirements- B.Sc., Master's, or higher in Physics, Materials Science, or related technical field
- Experience with data analysis, algorithm evaluation, or software scripting/development in a technical/semiconductor setting
- Hands-on experience with material characterization or metrology techniques (X-ray preferred, signal/image processing or optical metrology relevant)
- Strong background in software troubleshooting under Windows/Linux
- Understanding of crystallography/crystal structures or thin-film electronic layers is a plus
- Solid grounding in statistics, data processing, and reconciliation of results between measurement methods
- Excellent written and oral English technical communication; ability to collaborate with overseas R&D; Korean/Chinese language a plus
