Senior Remediation Construction Manager - Downstream & Legacy Sites

Overview

In this role you will lead construction phase delivery for environmental, civil, and decommissioning projects across the US West, including complex sites and large-scale investments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, permit, design, and procure, while safeguarding schedule and budget. You will drive reporting, client engagement, and knowledge sharing to advance sustainable infrastructure. This position offers hybrid work, regional flexibility, and opportunities to influence major projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead construction management for environmental construction, site remediation, civil construction, and decommissioning projects with a key oil and gas client in the West Region
  • Contribute to planning, permitting, design, and procurement phases of projects
  • Develop and manage budgets and schedules; monitor progress and perform post-calculations
  • Create reporting strategies and lead complex reporting to derive actionable insights for clients
  • Collaborate with client development team and lead procurement activities including proposals and interviews
  • Provide specialist advice on regulations, constructability, cost evaluations, and sequencing
  • Develop knowledge management practices and share best practices within the team
  • Act as a subject matter expert in construction management and maintain external accreditations
  • Conduct feasibility studies related to bids, RFPs, and tenders from technological, financial, and organizational perspectives
  • Monitor compliance with policies and regulatory codes; manage client relationships with senior guidance
  • Support the broader team with continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends
Key requirements
  • 15+ years of experience as Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer on multiple simultaneous construction projects
  • CCM certification or PE license is a plus but not required
  • Experience with web-based document management systems
