Overview In this role you drive new revenue through consultative sales to new clients and expansion with existing clients. You'll build a robust prospect pipeline and coordinate with CBIZ teams to deliver tailored solutions. You act as a trusted advisor, shaping recommendations and managing client transitions to service teams. You work across leadership to share market insights and pursue growth opportunities, contributing to the firm's client-centric mission.
Responsibilities- Achieve annual new revenue objectives through consultative sales
- Develop and maintain a personal development plan
- Build and manage an active pipeline from diverse sources
- Document activity and prospect data in CBIZ systems
- Develop and present recommendations using a consultative approach
- Close new business and record outcomes
- Transition sold clients to the client service team
- Act as a valued advisor and build relationships with key decision makers
- Collaborate with client service teams to retain business
- Provide leadership with market trends and competitive intelligence
- Identify and support cross-serving leads
- Meet annual sales goals
Key requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- Some relevant industry experience
- Must obtain required licenses/credentials
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
