Overview

In this Contract Recruiter role, you will source, screen, engage, negotiate with, and place aviation technical contractors to support global projects. You'll build pipelines, manage contractor relationships, and align recruitment with project demands and business objectives. The position sits in the Operations Support team and offers autonomy to influence talent strategy and workforce planning. You'll work across multiple regions and time zones in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, helping ensure access to high-quality expertise. This is a chance to contribute to critical aviation projects and shape recruitment processes within a global network.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with TSS Project Leaders, Operations Support, and Business Development to understand contractor needs
  • Develop sourcing strategies to identify and engage specialised aviation consultants
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines in key skill areas and locations
  • Create targeted recruitment marketing campaigns and sourcing initiatives
  • Screen, qualify, assess, and shortlist candidates
  • Maintain candidate records and ensure GDPR/compliance in documentation
  • Present candidates to Project Leaders and support interview/selection
  • Manage contractor engagement activities, onboarding, and placement administration
  • Negotiate contractor rates balancing budgets, market conditions, and profitability
  • Develop understanding of contractor markets, working conditions, and remuneration trends
  • Build long-term relationships with contractors, candidates, stakeholders, and leaders
  • Manage multiple vacancies and projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
  • Develop recruitment approaches to improve responsiveness, quality, and outcomes
Key requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract recruitment
  • End-to-end recruitment experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Sourcing through multiple channels (networks, databases, referrals, job boards, social media, direct outreach)
  • Experience building and maintaining candidate pipelines for specialist roles
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones
