Overview As a Maintenance and Logistics Information System expert, you will manage and troubleshoot relational databases to support classified defense programs. You will partner with field engineers, logistics staff, and subcontractors to ensure timely processing of maintenance and logistics events and keep database services operational 24/7. You'll train users, perform data integrity audits, and report on performance metrics while upholding security requirements. This role connects database design and operational procedures with real-world sustainment needs, offering meaningful impact on mission-critical deliverables.

Responsibilities- Database management, administration, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate logistics, maintenance, and related events with engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely deliverables
- Provide sustainment-focused training and answer inquiries from internal/external customers
- Perform data integrity audits and report performance metrics
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with customer security requirements
- Oversee database design, backups, recovery, and environment management
- Plan database upgrades and maintenance, including environment transitions (dev/test/stage/prod)
Key requirements- Experience with database mapping to external sources like MS Access
- Aircraft sustainment/maintenance experience
- Oracle/SQL administration (performance monitoring, backups, disaster recovery)
- Experience creating active links, user forms, and process routines in MS Access
- Active Secret Clearance
