Overview In this role you lead and grow GPI's Virginia construction services CEI program, partnering with public-sector clients to deliver roadway and bridge projects. You'll provide executive oversight, mentor staff, and drive business development to expand the program in alignment with regional and organizational goals. You shape execution standards with VDOT and municipalities, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets. Responsibilities- Lead and expand a Virginia construction services program with a long-term growth mindset
- Oversee delivery of Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for VDOT and local municipalities
- Provide executive oversight of roadway and bridge construction projects, ensuring compliance with VDOT standards, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations
- Serve as a trusted partner to VDOT and public-sector clients
- Lead, mentor, and grow construction management and inspection staff in Virginia
- Support business development efforts, including pursuits, proposals, and strategic planning
- Collaborate with regional leadership to align operations with organizational goals
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Significant experience with VDOT roadway and bridge construction
- Demonstrated experience delivering CEI services for public-sector transportation clients
- Proven ability to build, manage, and grow a construction services program or business unit
