Overview As an MSL/Sr. MSL, you will be a field-facing scientific resource for Eisai at US Medical Affairs, engaging with healthcare professionals, researchers and decision-makers. You will translate scientific data and clinical information to support Eisai's products and strategic plan. You'll lead knowledge sharing, identify insights from KOLs, and mentor newer MSLs while driving special projects. This role sits at the intersection of medical science, research, and cross-functional collaboration, shaping future research ideas and medical strategy. You will contribute to Eisai's mission by advancing scientific exchange and evidence generation in oncology/hematology and neurology.

Responsibilities- Serve as the primary clinical/scientific resource to Healthcare Providers for disease state and product information
- Facilitate accurate scientific and medical information exchange between KOLs/investigators and Medical Affairs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with KOLs and investigators in Eisai's therapeutic areas
- Present clinical, scientific, and economic data to population-based decision-makers
- Support professional congress activities and lead congress coverage where needed
- Identify and report scientific insights from KOLs to Medical Affairs
- Develop and present management plans to support Medical Affairs strategy for the territory
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of disease states, study methodologies, and product data
- Mentor and coach junior MSLs; manage special projects
- Facilitate IIS reviews and assist with Eisai-sponsored trials; act as primary contact for external investigators
Key requirements- Advanced terminal doctorate in medical/health sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD)
- 0-3 years of pharma/biotech/clinical experience for MSL level; minimum 3 years MSL experience in Oncology/Hematology for Sr. MSL
- Strong scientific/pharmaceutical knowledge; trial development and launch experience preferred
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA/regulatory guidelines
- Established relationships with KOLs; ability to communicate across multiple disease states
- Excellent presentation, teaching, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally, think strategically, and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel 60%; valid driver's license; home-based office setup
